Yamato Area Roadside Station Kokindenju-no-sato Yamato
A roadside station
with various facilities altogether
“Kokindenju-no-sato Yamato” is located in Gujo Yamato, the village of Kokindenju-no-sato, and has the desire to convey the spirit of singing and the history and culture of Waka. There is a “Kutsurogi Plaza” with seasonal plants, carp ponds, streams, etc. You can also have a footbath of a natural hot spring for free. At Yutahana-no-ichi, where you can find the products of Oku Mino and Oku Hida, you can also buy Kei-chan (Stir fried chicken with miso sauce) which is supervised by the restaurant in the facility, for take-out. There is also a local restaurant where you can enjoy natural yams, a noodle shop, a restaurant, a handmade bread studio, and an ice cream / yogurt studio, so it is ideal for preparing your stomach or snacking while driving. Yamato Onsen Yasuragikan, which has the theme of “Having fun at hot spring” and Gujo Shunsaikan Yamato Morning Market, where fresh local vegetables, rice, and processed products are lined up, are also adjacent. In October 2020, the three-story 87-room hotel Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Gujo will open next to the roadside station. It will become a new base for traveling around Gujo-shi.
