Finding Momiji at the solemn Daijyouji Temple

Driving for 5 minutes or walking for 15 minutes from Jion-zenji Temple to Daijyoji Temple. The gate here is a rare design called “Shoro-mon”. There are bell towers on the gate. These towers were placed when the temple was under reconstruction. It is one of Designated Cultural Properties at Gujo-shi.

All Momiji are painted red like fire. It was so soothing to see the solemn atmosphere.

You can see Gujo Hachiman Castle from far away.

It is a place that you can enjoy Momiji quietly.

Walking around in Gujo Hachiman is a pleasure.

Momiji everywhere along the street makes me enjoy so much.

After finishing this Gujo Hachiman trip in autumn, it is a once in a lifetime experience seeing all the autumn leaves. We recommend walking around slowly to fully enjoy the autumn leaves!
