Original stamp book and “Golden castle stamp” filled with Okumino culture Castle stamp is spreading in castles all over the country as a commemorate. Gujo Hachiman Castle issues a castle stamp using Mino Washi (Japanese paper) handmade by craftsmen. From winter of 2019, “Golden castle stamp”, which is issued only at the last Friday of every month (Premium Friday), also started. You can only find this beautiful golden color stamp in family crest using local industry of silk screening in Gujo. The issuance fee is 300JPY (Tax included) for both the regular version and the golden castle stamp. In addition, Gujo Hachiman Castle’s original design Castle stamp book with a clear pocket which is convenient for storing entrance tickets and photos together is available. This castle stamp book is sold for 1800JPY (Tax included) for each color.
* The profits of Gujo Hachiman Castle’s castle stamp are used for the maintenance of the castle and the improvement of services, and part of it is used for reconstruction support for Kumamoto Castle.
