The largest scale in Gujo, welcoming over 500 guests can stay every day!

After driving for around 5 minutes from Takasu IC of Tokai Hokuriku Expressway, you can see a large western-style building in front of you.

That is the center house of N.A.O. Akeno Kogen Campsite & Cottage and also an administration building. In addition to 25 rental villas, there are 100 campsites and 34 dogs welcomed auto campsites, can accommodate at least 500 people, making it the largest outdoor activity and accommodation facility in Gujo.

You can rent camping equipment and cooking utensils at the center house. You can find almost everything you needed during your stays, such as firewood, charcoal, rice, seasonings, beverages, paper plates, and detergents.

As there are 25 rental villas for 6 to 30 people, around 300 people can accommodate at rental villas.

This is a new rental villa that opened in 2018.

The interior design is Western-style using plenty of wood.
There is also a BBQ terrace outside for you to enjoy BBQ with your friends and family! It seems to be very fun! There are 3 Western-style rooms on the 2nd floor.

Other than rental villas, bungalows like a secret base are also popular.
Adorable appearance with woods around and Finland wood used for interior design, is creating warmth inside the house.

Every room has a mattress, so even those who are not used to stay in outdoors can also sleep comfortably. In addition, bedding and a heater are also provided in winter, so you can spend your time in the house. There are 3 types of villas for 3 people, 5 people, 8 people, and 15 people. The photo shown is for 5 people.

A campsite blended into the wilderness

As trees are acting as curtains, you can hardly see your neighbors. There are many shades of trees making it cool in the summer. Various sizes from a rider’s site for one tent to a triple site for up to three cars are available.

As you can see in the photo, there are 6 water taps for cooking at the campsite. If you want to BBQ, you can use the BBQ space (Reservation required) near the center house. Or you can cook freely at your campsite where the direct fire is allowed.

They also rent and sell BBQ equipment, so you can enjoy BBQ easily by bringing your own food only. There is an A.Coop Okumi branch is located about a 15-minute drive away, and you can find a lot of fresh agricultural products by local farmers. It is convenient to finish shopping at local supermarkets in Shiratori-cho and Takasucho-cho before visiting the campsite.

You can see they have very clean toilets with bidets in two places in the facility.

Plenty of outdoor activities for children to enjoy

One of the main characteristics of N.A.O. Akeno Kogen Campsite & Cottage is various activities provided by the facility making use of its vast site. In front of the center house, there is playground equipment for stretching your body. Children love it very much!

Thus, there is a pool which is really popular with children!
As it is shallow, even small children can enter. Your children can use the slide and jump into the pool!

For bigger children, we recommend a fishing pond.

You can rent a fishing rod in 300JPY and enjoy fishing as much as you like. You can also grill and eat your fish caught.

If you want to try outdoor activity inside nature, how about riding a horse?

This horse training facility is operated by KAZ. Horse Training, providing horse riding and horse leading experience.

If you want to ride and go for a run on the horse, you can try the 45 minutes horse riding course. Not only children, but adults can also enjoy too.
