Nanukabi Matsuri
An annual festival called "Nanukabi Matsuri" or "Nanokabi Matsuri" held on 7th of August every year at Myoken Shrine. [Gifu Intangible Folk Cultural Property] This is a festival of father-son hereditary succession passed down since the Middle Ages. Following the Shinto ritual, Shinji beginning around noon, Togyo and Nomatsuri continue. At Nomatsuri, Doburoku is offered, and lion dance is performed. Receiving a pestle and doing humorous movement entertain all the viewers.
