Gujo Yamato Hotaru-no-sato Park

Gujo Yamato Hotaru no Sato Park is divided into a biotope and a museum where children from Yamato Daiichi Kita Elementary School and residents of Manba area cooperate to protect lightning bugs and Kawanina (Freshwater snail). The best time to see lightning bugs is from the beginning to the end of June. In addition to the biotope, you can enjoy observing lightning bugs at the adjacent Terakawa (Irrigation canal). lightning bugs are raised by the children, so please do not take it home with you.
