A long-established store that has preserved the traditional indigo dyeing for over 400 years since Edo era. Indigo dying pots which are still in use are lined up at the storefront, and natural indigo is fermented here. Shoai, which has been dyed many times, is also called "Japan Blue" and has been highly evaluated overseas. Shop curtains, tapestries, table runners, bags, clothing, stoles and other indigo-dyed products and carp streamers are lined up inside the shop.
