Gujo Mokuri

We design, manufacture and sell Geta (Wooden clogs) used in Gujo Odori Dance FEstival. We focus on "Made in Gujo" and utilize cypress woods grown in the mountains of Gujo. We consistently make everything from carving wood to Hanao (Thong) om the city. Other than clogs, you can also find hand towels, drawstring purses, and other useful items for dancing in this renovated old townhouse. You can choose your favorite one from about 100 kinds of Hanao, and the craftsman put them together on the spot according to your feet. OnGujo Odori day, the shop is open until the end of the dance, so you can also follow up on the adjustment and get your thong repaired!
