At Hirugano Picnic Garden, Japan’s largest garden on the mountaintop at an altitude of 1,000m! With 40,000 Petunia plants and 10,000 mock cypress plants, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the flower garden in each season. Pink petunia which has a white center and deep pink color, is blooming for a long time from July to October. In addition, the mock cypress, which has a lovely round shape, is in a refreshing green color in summer and dyed in bright red from the end of September. You can enjoy all the charm of each season. In addition, a popular spot Momoiro Terrace & Cafe on the mountaintop is having cute sweets menus using local ingredients Hirugano Kogen Strawberries and the famous Hirugano milk. It is good to try these sweets while seeing beautiful pink flowers.

About 8 minutes by lift from the foot of the mountain, Momoiro Cafe & Terrace is a cafe where you can overlook the largest scale of 40,000 pink flowers in Japan. There is flower soda with edible flowers topping and frappe made with the famous Hirugano milk. As pets can also ride on the mountaintop lift, you can spend time together on the terrace. It is also recommended for going out with your dog.

Flying like a bird!? Zipline Adventure
Zipline Adventure is an activity where you can experience as if you were flying in the sky like a bird. After you get on the lift and get off from the mountaintop using a wire rope stretched between trees, you can enjoy seeing the nature of Hirugano Plateau from the bird’s eye. You can see the mountains at Hakusan mountain range, and the sky and forest. A tour with a tour guide of 6 routes from the mountaintop to the grasslands takes about 2 hours. It is open to elementary school students and above. You need to practice before the start. As it is hung using a special pulley, so even those who do not have the strength to grip are okay. Everyone can enjoy it, even from kids to seniors.

Mountaintop buggy for small children
