This beautiful nature can be accessed in just 4 minutes from Hirugano Kogen SA Smart I.C (for ETC only). Bokka-no-sato is located at the foot of Mt Dainichigatake at an altitude of 1,000m. It is a theme park where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and greenery in a huge location overlooking the magnificent view of Hakusan mountain range. In the large garden where horses and sheep graze on the grassland, you can run around on the grassland, enjoy interacting with adorable animals, ride the road train around the garden, etc. You can fully enjoy tasting food at the plateau. Inside the park, there are indoor barbecue houses for you to enjoy Hida beef barbecue and restaurants where you can enjoy a light meal menu. Thus you can try snowsports and winter limited hot springs, making it a fun spot to visit in each of the four seasons.

Only watching the animals leisurely on the large ranch is so relaxing. There are many events for you to play with the animals at Bokka-no-sato. Activities such as Horse riding is riding a gentle horse led by staff, Animal Touch is you can interact with small animals, like rabbits and guinea pigs, a photo session with the popular alpaca of the park, and sheep feeding are waiting for you to join. Why don’t you have a good time with unique and friendly animals? Small animals are softer and warmer than you imagined, and you will be surprised when you first hear the cry of animals. Children can definitely remember this as an actual experience that they cannot understand just by looking at pictures and books.

Try milking a dairy cow, Anko-chan
Bokka-no-sato raises about 30 dairy cows. Among them, Anko-chan, who is also a mascot character, is very quiet and very popular with everyone. At the milking house next to the ranch building, the milking experience is held twice a day. The participation fee is free of charge. It is firmer than you think, when you squeeze it, pure white milk comes out vigorously. As staff teaches you how to squeeze, so even small children can try it.

Flower field with an area of approximately 4.5 hectares!
Healed by the flowers and greenery of the four seasons!
One of the most recommended spots in Bokka-no-sato is a flower field of about 4.5 hectares.
From spring to autumn, flowers that bloom one after another are spectacular. As the temperature difference between day and night is large, you can see this wonderful coloring of flowers! Despite being located about an hour and a half drive from Nagoya, lavender fields and tulips in full bloom like Hokkaido is a masterpiece. For small children and seniors, we recommend two trains (Fee 300JPY) going around the park. It takes about 10 minutes to travel through the park slowly, and you can see the beautiful flower fields along the track. The appearance of a road train imitating a steam locomotive is running through a flower field. You can bring your own food in the park outside the park restaurants. It is good to have a picnic under the wide blue sky of Hirugano Kogen.

Relaxing at this winter limited
hot spring with aroma of herbs
Bokka is a hot spring facility that opens only in winter from December to March. Inside this Western-style building, there is an open-air bath in which you can enjoy the snowy scenery, a large forest bath with large panoramic windows, an herbal bath for relaxation, a mint mist room, a Finnish sauna, etc. After having a bath, you can enjoy food at the cafeteria of the hotel, or find a dish of memory during your trip at the souvenir shop. It is also recommended as a stopover spot on the way back from skiing.
