Go to an adventure for kids and adults on 8m above the ground!

Wood Adventure Gujo is inside a hotel and leisure facility Gujo Vacance Mura Hotel which is only around 5 minutes from Hirugano Kogen SA Smart IC of Tokai Hokuriku Expressway.

This hotel itself is a leisure facility operating by Gujo Vacance Mura Ski Resort in winter, as well as a sports ground and a golf course. As it is not limited to hotel guests, you can enjoy leisure activities for day use.

Among all the outdoor activities, we are introducing an adventure park in the air, Wood Adventure Gujo.

Currently, they are reservations only to avoid being too crowded, and reservations can only be made by phone. If there is a vacancy, you can join on the day, so please check by phone before you go.

The adventure route is at a corner of the forest.

If you want to complete all routes, it takes around 40 minutes to 1 hour. All are full-scale routes that even adults can fully enjoy.

When I was looking down from 8m above the ground, which is the height that humans feel most fear, my legs are freezing, and I am really timid. I was a little worried about whether I could reach the end. But I did not have to worry about falling because the safety rope was attached to my body. After checking all safety equipment, let us get started!

After passing through a rope from the starting point, the next step was to walk on a log.
I was a bit nervous thinking about what to do if I step off my foot. I started moving forward step by step. As I do not want to step off, my hands were holding the safety rope tightly.

It looks like you are moving forward, but when you actually tried it, you could not step on your feet firmly. You were confused about where and in what order you should put your feet and hands out. It was very exciting.

After passing through the logs, our next step was the narrow woods.
It was shaking and I screamed “So frightened!” Although I wanted to go back, it seems going back was scarier so I could only keep on moving.

As our guide on the ground advised us, “Step with your right foot!” “It is easier to go when you look sideways!”, so even people who are not good at high places can manage to proceed smoothly.
If guests are coming with their family, father and mother usually advise below.

After the narrow woods, next was a ladder.
As it was only two ropes connected with wooden boards, my feet were shaking. It took more time than I imagined because I had to change the direction of my hands and body step by step. In the second half, I was using all my strength to hold the rope.                                                                                                                                  

Finally, I needed to face the wall zone. My hands grasping the holds were getting weaker. 

You needed to open your legs wide and hold the rope or grip firmly, so it may be difficult for children?! However, most children are moving so fast without fear.

Before I experienced it, I was thrilled wondering if I could go to the end. But I felt so pleased after clearing all the routes! The time passed so fast!

There is also a huge maze which even small children can enjoy. Please come and try it!

Reception may end in the morning during the peak season like Golden Week or summer vacation. Please go earlier.
